My article, "Rag Bags and Remnant Ribbon" tells the story about my grandfather and how he collected rags and brought them to the salvage yard, bringing me along for an adventure which
left and indelible and found memory for me.
This recollection one day as I was rifling through bins at a fabric wearhouse spurred the inspiration for me to create ribbon from remnants to use in making and decorating bags.
